The Bill Dannelly resevoir, just south of Selma, anybody fish there? I go acouple times a year with family, but all we fish for there is crappie. The COE says they have a large Hybrid population there and I was wondering if anyone here has fished there for them.

Thanks

Robert

We took a week long trip down the Alabama R. one November in fish school at UT. We put in above the dam at the campground and made our way downstream for three days. We made it down far enough where we were catching blue crabs on cut gizzards. No stripes though. I was disappointed in the overall fish population in the river. It looked good, but I musta been doing something wrong. I think we traveled 90 miles one way, if that's possible. We ended up at some protected turtle nesting grounds in a pretty large bay at the mouth of the Tenesaw. It was a neat trip, saw lots of big gators.
