Guys, this looks like a cool striper series for those in the TN, NC, VA area. They're promoting catch n release weigh ins with striper tubes similar to the SBCC stuff. There are four different lakes...SML, Cherokee, Kerr (Va), and Lake Norman. They are 2 day tournaments (weigh in each day) with 2 events at each lake between October and May (1 each month). There will also be a points champion awarded at the end taking home what should be a decent little bonus check!

It looks like it should be good times if you're into striper tournaments. I'm hoping to at the very least fish the SML events and I'd like to fish 1 or both of the Cherokee events..never been on that lake. Very Happy

Thanks, just wanted to remind everyone that the Inaugural event is coming up soon! October 2nd & 3rd will be here before you know it. We will be having the "Captains" meeting here at SML Outdoors, just up from the the boat ramp at Captain's Quarters, on Friday Oct 1st at 7pm. The Captain or a representative from that boat must be present at this meeting. The tournament fees must be paid by 7pm prior to the start of the meeting. Thanks, and we hope to see you all there!
