THE NEW BOAT

SEEIN STRIPES III

BY: Weld Bilt

Pick-UP day at Backwoods Landing in Mooresville, AL.

That is one WIDE 16 footer!

Note the ridiculousness of the 28" sides and 16" transom.  Hmmmmm.  Guess it'll have to work.  Got a little storage up front.
Uh, can you say I want my baby-back baby-back baby-back...

This is one SOLID piece of Weld Bilt Aluminum!

Seat bases welded in at the factory $25 each.  Niceee.

Hampton Cove, AL.
First daylight on the boat in GA.  Old betsy in the background looking abused.
The new powerplant.  Mercury 2 stroke 25 HP electric start tiller.  15" shaft, hence the goofily shaped transom.
Caleb explaining the best way to approach a gay Mexican.  And the placement of the bait tank (for now).

BPS adjustable/removable  rodholders with flush mount base.

Good view of the 40" front deck.  It's 69" across the nose of the boat and 79" at the back edge of the deck.  About 20 sq. ft. of deck = Lots of cast netting room.

Minn Kota 24V 65 lb thrust troller with Copilot remote control has a custom-welded bracket.

Gas tank, Oil, Minn Kota on board dual bank charger, Everstart Maxx 29 series marine bats, GPS receiver, stern light pole (mounted right of batteries) and receptacle, two flush mount stainless rodholders.
Garmin GPSMAP 178 fishfinder.

Note the custom welded depthfinder and switch console.  You can sit on it!  All wiring is run through black ducts under side ribs.

10 rodholders so far, more to come.  20' P&T Trailer with 14" wheels, side bunks, wheel jack.  She's easy to load and unload.
The maiden voyage on a 10 acre pond.  We hit 24 MPH with 3 men on board.
